Washington Update

How wonderful it was to talk to our sweet boy (even at 5:30 in the morning...on a Saturday). It was difficult to say goodbye. As I sat there missing him, I received a text from a random number with the caption "Looking good!" and attached was this picture. So needed this. Thank you to those of you that stop and take pictures of the missionaries and send them to their mommas who are missing their sweet faces.

He has safely arrived in Washington, Federal Way Mission.
"So. I made it to Washington. I'm in the mission home now. It is really pretty here. Very wet too. We met our mission president and his wife. President and Sister Eaton. They are really cool people. The flight was ok, but I didn't sleep much.

I hope that everything goes ok. I am really nervous. I mean, I am out in the field and stuff, talking to real people. It's kind of nerve racking, but I'll be ok.
I love you

Then we got to Skype with him on Christmas. How wonderful that was! Loved to see his face. So here is our family Christmas picture!

He is in a tri-panionship.

"Also this week, I did some family history stuff last P-Day. I found out that my 4th great grandfather, Joseph Millett Sr. actually is a big part of a presentation at the Church History Library in SLC. They show a video about a story that is in his journal and it is pretty cool. I'll put the link here in a few minutes. But I was able to order a copy of his patriarchal blessing because I'm a direct descendant, and I have read it. It is so cool to see the heritage of our ancestors. "
Love ya,
